For my midterm I explored a collection of Charles Dickens speeches. I did a simple word frequency analysis using code to find recurring themes in his speeches and displayed the results with a horizontal bar chart.
Not only is the graph super clean, but I like the table on your website that shows us which portion of the midterm you’re writing about. I think your significance section is very insightful, talking about the practicality aspect of breaking down novels and the necessity of these digital methods to do so.
This was very well done Rye. The layout and design of your website is very appealing and easy to navigate. Your knowledge of data science is evident throughout the entire project. I liked how you went with a horizontal bar graph and reordered it by highest to lowest. Those small changes make the graph incredibly easier to interpret. What was the reason behind your project?
