For our final project, we created an interactive digital exploration of Willis Hall, a renowned and historic building at Carleton. Because renovations to the building are planned, we focused on documenting its current structure, placing emphasis on the interior. Our project combines a 360° indoor tour built with PolyCam and ThingLink, a Scaniverse 3D model of the exterior (which was processed and embedded with Polycam), and a Flourish timeline of Willis Hall’s history. These different tools allow viewers to explore the building and its history in an interactive way.
