This week I used ArcGIS Online to create a map of my campus. I chose five places I go to often:
Also the data I used is in this link.

I made a few important decisions for this project. I decided to make the points bigger if I visit that place more often. This helps show which buildings are most important to my week. I also added outlines for the buildings to make them stand out. I had to clean up my data before uploading it.
I think web mapping is great for the digital humanities. It allows us to show where things happen in a way that writing cannot. It helps us find patterns in the data. ArcGIS Online is a powerful tool for making these maps. It has many options for symbols and styles. It is also easy to share the final map with everyone.
